Hello blogging world!
This is my first ever blog post, and though it might not be of much substance, it has a lot of meaning for me. I have never considered myself a writer, nor have I ever imagined anyone would want to hear what I have to say. Recently I have been finding that I might just have a story to tell, and things to say that people would listen to!
To start, I will tell you a little about me. I am a girl whose main desire for most of my life has been to be Peter Pan. Not necessarily to play him someday, but to actually be him. I know, its weird. But I once cut off most of my own hair as a child to get one step closer to this goal. I now have a more realistic view of a need to keep Peter's spirit of youthful curiosity and adventure alive everyday. My second desire has been to be onstage. I started dance classes before most kids my age were potty trained! My third aspiration is to someday teach. Science, English, 2nd Grade, whatever! I want to inspire future generations to love life and be curious about the world they live in! Alongside those desires is my more recent hope to be a perfect (future) wife. Im currently a working theatre professional (eeeek!) and have an incredibly witty, smart and talented fiance. We are finding our way of remaining playful and optimistic in New York City, a town not as full of businessmen and cynics as you might imagine. So far life has been very good to us, we strive to keep it going that way, and we do our best to be good people.
Who knows where the wind will take us from here!
